SUMENEP — Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Dakwah Raudlatul Iman (STIDAR) Gadu Barat Ganding, guided by its profound mottos, “The Great Campus of Civilization Restoration” and “The Excellent Campus of Community Development,” consistently strives to evolve into a pioneering institution addressing the dynamic challenges prevalent in contemporary society.

Dr. Romo KH. SAHLI HAMID, M.Pd.I, the esteemed Chairman of the Raudlatul Iman Foundation, is a pivotal figure renowned for his unwavering commitment to fostering societal progress. He persistently endeavors to initiate and implement actions that invigorate communities, particularly amidst cultural hegemonies that have become disoriented by financial allure and intellectual arrogance.

Embodying the Tridharma of Higher Education

As a tangible manifestation of STIDAR’s vision and mottos, the institution’s management is dedicated to upholding the Tridharma of Higher Education, encompassing education, research, and community service. In alignment with this commitment, STIDAR consistently conducts its Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata – KKN). Currently, one of its student groups is strategically placed in Sobuk Village, Gadu Barat, and Sobuk Village, Karay.

The central theme of this KKN initiative is “Optimizing Rural Human Resources.” This theme is actualized through a series of comprehensive programs designed to foster social intelligence, digital literacy, and environmental consciousness among rural populations.

Empowering Communities and Philosophical Guidance

During a visit to the KKN student group, Chairman Kiai Sahli, accompanied by field supervisor Nawafil, M.Psi, articulated his aspirations for the students. He expressed hope that the students would continue their learning journey and actively collaborate with the local community. This collaboration, he emphasized, should enable their presence to offer practical solutions to prevailing societal issues and serve as a beacon for the civilization of the ummah. The local figure, Kiai Nasamuddin, welcomed them on Wednesday (6/8/2025).

In a poignant statement to MaduraExpose, Kiai Sahli conveyed a profound message: “We are guests on earth, so never become its slaves. Remain messengers from heaven to prosper His earth.” This philosophical guidance underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering a holistic approach to community development, intertwining spiritual values with practical societal contributions.
